About the Role
The Warehouse Tech will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks. Putting material away on the shelves after looking over and taking count of what came in. Responsible for fulfilling customer orders by reading pick lists and pulling items off the shelf and putting them on the pallet or boxing them up for shipping via freight trucks or UPS. Responsible for making deliveries from time to time to customers either in the field or at their shop. Responsible for taking out the trash for the office and keeping the warehouse clean, floors swept, and restocking the shelves with product. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
■ Must be able to lift an average of 50-60 pounds per box.
■ Must wear steel toe shoes or boots that cover your ankles.
■ Must wear shirts with sleeves.
■ Must be reliable and show up on time.
■ Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record along with a way to get to and from work.
■ Must be able to read, write and speak English
■ Preferred applicant would be at least 21 years of age
■ Would prefer to have someone that is self-motivated and willing to learn
■ Must be able to stand on feet for several hours at a time.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday 8a-4pm with 1 hour for lunch.
Benefits & Salary
This is a part-time position to start with the possibility of turning into a full-time role with benefits. Salary based on previous experience.
