We had already provided a bicycle warning system at each end of the bridge that links to a push button to trigger flashing beacons for a certain amount of time, but the project wanted to add flashing beacons at the midpoint of the bridge for each direction as well.

We installed control equipment in the cabinets with ethernet controlled relays that link from the original bicycle warning systems to the added flashers. This way, any time the push button is activated, the flashers at the end of the bridge and at the midpoint of the bridge will flash together and provide better indication of road users to drivers.
