The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is replacing the Governor Harry W. Nice Memorial/Senator Thomas "Mac" Middleton Bridge, and upgrading the ITS/communications throughout the roadway. Traffic Systems and Technology is working diligently to have all equipment delivered and installed for the bridge opening currently scheduled for the end of 2022. The old bridge is scheduled to be demolished by December 2024.
